Come join us for an evening of choreographed ballroom dancing, also known as round dancing. Round dancing is regular couples dancing like two-step, waltz, rumba or cha cha, except someone is telling you each thing to do moment by moment, like in a square dance – so you don’t have to memorize anything. Beginners welcome. Singles welcome. There will be a combination of lessons and dancing. I will aim to have teaching about 1/3 of the time and the rest of the time dancing. Generally we will do two easy dances (phase 2-3) for every harder dance (phase 4 and above). Instructor is Ray Burns. No charge. Beautiful, new wood floor at the Southern Arizona Dance Center! Bring a water bottle and refill it at our filtered water station.
